The Department of Energy released its weekly report on the condition of petroleum inventories in the United States today.

Here are some highlights:

Crude oil inventories decreased by 2 million barrels to a total of 363.1 million barrels. pretty worthless overall. Pig Banks drive prices up, Specutraitors hope to cash in on it. In the end, the consumer pays for their game.

If the gas inventories are up then the price should go down. It won't happen in the Greed market.

Sounds like inventories are still running high keeping downward pressure on prices unless investors somehow "get spooked" by something else and oil prices rise anyway. Always a mind game.

Need the price to go down. Perhaps when inventories increase, price would fall. I have not seen this linkage in fact.

We accidentally released a little bit of the oil reserves onto the ocean surface via one well.

DOE can get their act together & quit being a Pelosi maker. Prices of fuel should be half of what they are for our US oil, that is no longer sold to Japan & other foreign areas. We want our own & get rid of foreign companies in our waters.

Sounds like they are selling less gas so they are buying less crude, thinking the price will fall?????????

I guess the speculators can decide that crude oil stockpiles are down so the price of oil should go up! Then the gasoline refiners, distributors and retailers will have the excuse of higher crude prices to raise gasoline prices (even though gasoline inventories are up)! What a game this is.

Market factors have been minimized in the "pricing" equation. Thus ... this article is equated to trying to micro manage self illuminating screw drivers.

Ok, so we have more gas than we need because more was produced than we needed. On the other hand we produced more gas therefore we have less crude. What does the DOE do all day?

Gasoline inventories up a little and oil inventories down a little... refineries must be gearing up for increased driving demand - oh yeah, the fourth of July, so they can make additional profit by keeping the pump prices high...
